GR®11 Around Pays d'Ile de France

The GR11 is a remarkable long-distance hiking trail that weaves a grand loop around the illustrious City of Lights, Paris. This trail presents hikers with an unparalleled opportunity to explore the diverse and abundant artistic and natural heritage that graces the outskirts of the capital. The trail meanders through scenic regions such as the Mantois, Vexin, Chantilly, and Senlis, and the verdant forests of Ermenonville and Retz. It also traces the contours of the Ourcq, Marne, Petit, and Grand Morin valleys, and leads hikers through historic towns including Provins, Moret-sur-Loing, Fontainebleau, and Milly-la-Forêt. The journey culminates in the Hurepoix region and the serene Chevreuse valley.
