From Pont de Saint-Maurice (Finistere) to Pont Neuf (Morbihan)

The GR®34E is a hike through the picturesque landscapes of Finistère and Morbihan in Brittany. Starting at Pont de Saint-Maurice in Clohars-Carnoët and ending at Pont Neuf in Plouay, you will pass through charming places such as Quimperlé, Locunolé and Guilligomarc’h. The trail extends for a total distance of 45 km, with altitudes varying between 2 m and 126 m. When it comes to fauna and flora, the GR®34E is a real treasure. The trail crosses varied landscapes, including dune areas such as Bon Abri, which is home to exceptional fauna and flora biodiversity. Historically speaking, GR®34E is a historic hiking trail that has been used by many hikers over the years. One of the points of interest on this trail is the Carnoët Abbey, founded at the end of the 12th century by Abbot Maurice Duault, who came from the Langonnet Abbey accompanied by twelve monks. This abbey is a living testimony to the rich and fascinating history of the region.
