The GR®25, a scenic long-distance hiking trail, meanders through the breathtaking Seine-Maritime region, connecting Sotteville-sous-le-Val and Montville. This trail provides an unparalleled hiking experience as it traverses diverse landscapes, ranging from lush forests and expansive fields to babbling brooks and rolling hills. The trail guides you through several quaint villages, each radiating its own distinctive charm. Take, for instance, Les Authieux-sur-le-Port-Saint-Ouen, a village renowned for its traditional half-timbered houses and cobbled streets. As you continue your journey, you’ll traverse a series of charming villages including Saint-Adrien, Franqueville-Saint-Pierre, Epinay, Bois-d’Ennebourg, Bois-l’Evêque, Epreville, Auzouville-sur-Ry, Martainville-Epreville, Flamanville, Ry, Saint-Arnoult, Blainville-Crevon, Saint-André-sur-Cailly, Saint-Georges-sur-Fontaine, Fontaine-le-Bourg, Grand Tendos, and Bosc-Guérard-Saint-Adrien. Each of these villages serves as a delightful respite for hikers, offering local cafes, farmers’ markets, and historical sites to discover.
